My Mission is to serve and protect my community by putting them first.
My Vision is to bring Integrity, Honor, and Trust to the citizens of Dallas County.
My Values have always been to believe in yourself and give it your ALL!
I knew I wanted a career in law enforcement at the age of 14 when I participated in the Dallas Police Department's Explorer Program. My law enforcement journey began at the age of nineteen with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office. I later advanced to the Dallas County Constable’s Office and became the first African American Deputy Constable in Dallas County Precinct 2. During my tenure with the Constable’s Office, I have advanced through the ranks of Corporal, Sergeant, and Chief Deputy.
The Mesquite and Garland area has been my home for over 37 years. I have been married to my beautiful wife Paulette for 40 years and we have two beautiful children and one grandson. My family and I have always put God first in our lives and feel called to serve others. As a longtime active member of a local church in Garland, I serve as the leader over the security ministry.
God has blessed me to serve and as a result, I serve my community and Dallas County at large by volunteering my time and service in several capacities. I currently participate in the Texas Ramp Project, providing meals for less fortunate families and tree trimming for elderly citizens. I would be humbled to be elected to serve as your Dallas County Constable for Precinct 2, and as your Constable I will continue to honor my call to serve and volunteer in the community.
Sincerely,
Vince Griffin
